Scholarship Deadline is April 30!

The Oscar S. Gray Scholarship is awarded annually to students who graduate from a high school in Tarrant County.  This scholarship is open to high school students who have enrolled and been accepted into a school of higher learning, or students currently attending a school of higher learning.  Additionally, the applicant must be in a program that leads to a degree in the field of Horticulture or any of its related fields. High academic achievement is regarded favorably, as well as participation in extracurricular activities, social and community affairs. Financial need will also be taken into consideration.  The amount of this scholarship is $1,000 which is paid directly to the school of higher learning upon enrollment.

Our Purpose:  To promote the hobby of gardening and horticultural pursuits; to provide a place for the exchange of ideas and information; to encourage discussion with others of similar interests; to interact with youth to teach appreciation of horticulture and to impart knowledge and skills; to encourage and promote the preservation and improvement of the environment.
